Taconic was founded in 1952 as a family-owned business in New York’s Hudson River Valley. Since then, the company has grown to become one of the largest and most respected laboratory rodent providers in the world. Licensing of research institutions for the use of various transgenic technologies;
Importation, derivation and breeding services, with the expertise to develop and characterize transgenic models;
Surgically modified animals;
Investigator-specified studies within maximum barrier animal facilities;
Cell line characterization and banking services performed in GMP-compliant tissue culture labs;
Rodent and rabbit health testing services and veterinary consultation;
