日本Eicom
At Eicom, we work hard to establish long lasting relationships with customers. Your success is our goal. We hope you learn as much from us as we do from you.
Company Location and Size
Our headquarters is in Kyoto, Japan and there are three additional offices in Tokyo and Sapporo, Japan and in San Diego, California (address). We are a small company of about 30 people in total. The best advantage of the small company is all work force is directly connected to the customers and our appreciation are the compliments from our users.
Communication
We think the small size of the company is good for maintaining communication. Actually, the original meaning of Eicom is "eight communications". The founders believed communication to be the most important aspect for a successful business. The character shape of eight in Japanese-Kanji stands for stable (representing the stability of our business). Thus, Eicom is pronounced Eigh-Com in Japan. We listen to our customers' needs. Comments from our customers provide useful insight for our company. Eicom developed the NOx Analyzer and Blood Sampling System based on the needs of our customers and now they are one of our largest sales. The HTEC-500 was developed from our customers' feedback of previous models.
History
Eicom Corporation was established by several people in 1986 in Kyoto, Japan. Eicom's initial product was only electrochemical detector cells. Then we expanded the product line to encompass the complete HPLC-ECD system (100 series) and also launched the microdialysis related products line in 1989. In 2002, the HTEC-500, HPLC-ECD system was introduced. This system is the third generation of the HPLC system from Eicom. In 2004, the US Branch was opened.
Production
We have a relatively wide range of products. All of our products are made in Kyoto, Japan with the exception of the data acquisition system (EPC-500, made in Australia) and the autosamplers sold in the US or Europe (AS-700 Autosampler in Netherlands).
