Siloam Biosciences, Inc., founded in 2004, is focused on developing the next generation of diagnostic systems using innovative microfluidics for immunoassay based diagnostics.

The company has developed the novel Optimiser™ microfluidic microplate with vastly superior performance to current 96-well microplates; specifically ~ 20 times reduction in sample/reagent (at least $50/plate savings) and tremendous assay speeds (30 minutes as opposed to 8 hours!).

The Optimiser™ is currently marketed as a solution for rapid, ultra-sensitive, and cost effective immunoassays in the lifesciences research sector. With the potential for 20x higher sensitivity, we envision the Optimiser™ as THE key component used with currently available automated ELISA diagnostic systems. This represents the first pathway towards an automated diagnostic platform from Siloam’s microfluidic technology suite.

The revolutionary Optimiser™ microplate also serves as the development vehicle for Siloam’s lab-on-a-chip based Point-of-Care Test (POCT) platform allowing for the first ever seamless approach lab to patient-bedside diagnostic system.
