德国斯密士有限公司（Schmitz u. Soehne GmbH & Co. KG）是世界知名医疗器械生产企业，专业生产手术床，在国际上享有较高的知名度和品牌影响力， 1946年制造其第一台医疗设备，现有员工180多人，年销售额2500万欧元（合23250万元人民币），产品遍布世界各地。该公司1990年进入中国市场，平均年销售额1000万元人民币，目前有七家区域代理商，主要分布在南方广州等大城市。

The company logo developed in the late 1940’s is still very up to date
in many aspects: A bull trying in vain to knock over a pole is a symbol
of quality, stability and durability. These are attributes that no longer
apply only to the products, but rather to the company as a whole.
The logo has changed in appearance over the years. At one time the
bull was enclosed in an oval and looked less stylized than it does today.
In the meantime, the add-on to the range of products has been omitted,
and the company name now forms the sole “foundation.” These
moderate changes simply show that even a bull can keep up with the times.
