Samco has been a manufacturer and supplier of disposable, plastic bio transport systems for the clinical, research, industrial and diagnostic markets since 1971, when it was founded by Mr. Elmer Saint-Amand.

A unique, proprietary manufacturing process was developed for disposable plastic transfer pipets in 1975, soon after which commercial manufacture and sale commenced.

Today Samco Scientific is a fully integrated design, engineering, and manufacturing company with over 300 employees from 25 different countries.

The infrastructure is designed to support global growth, to develop expertise and technology in the commercial field of interest, and to foster employee and community relations. Together these elements support the highest standards of service to customers from concept to distribution.

Samco Scientific is now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific and is managed as a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, located in San Fernando, California.
