Northwest Life Science Specialties, LLC is a research products company focused exclusively on the ever growing field of oxidative stress. Oxidative stress has now been shown to play a role in most major disease states as well as environmental decline and our company is commited to advancing this understanding by providing quality products to help simplify investigational methods. Our major product offering is a line of assay kits for the detection and quantification of various paramaters commonly associated with oxidative stress. These NWLSSTM brand products include 16 different test kits for detecting biomarkers of macromolecular oxidation, specific and non-specific antioxidant paramaters. These products are sold worldwide directly to customers or through a growing network of international distributors. With a very broad range of applicability, NWLSSTM customers include research laboratories from many of the worlds most respected academic, corporate and government institutes.

With many years of laboratory research experience and knowledge of multiple experimental model systems, Northwest Life Science personnel offer customers excellent consultation regarding oxidative and nitrosative stress detection methods and their application to specific projects and sample types. Our goal is to facilitate quality research by maximizing our customer's chances of generating data that is both real and meaningful. We have extensively tested various methodologies to better understand what is real and what is artifact in order to offer our customers the best possible assay for a given application. Northwest Life Science Specialties offices, laboratory and manufacturing facilities are located about 15 minutes north of Portland Oregon, just across the Columbia river in beautiful Vancouver, WA USA. This location at the western edge of the Columbia Gorge, gives us easy access to the Portland International airport (PDX) and OHSU, Oregon's only medical school and major center of life science research in Portland. The University of Washington campus, Medical School and affiliate hospitals are an easy drive to the north in Seattle along the Puget Sound. Our close proximity to the Northwest's major urban centers, Pacific Ocean and Cascade mountain range provide an excellent environment for both work and play.
