国际基因组学大会 International Conference on Genomics  ICG
国际基因组学大会是由华大基因研究院主办的基因组学领域的国际盛会。2012年，第七届国际基因组学大会（The 7th International Conference on Genomics）将与2012亚太区生物信息学峰会(Bio-IT APAC 2012)携手，于11月28日至12月1日在中国香港九龙香格里拉酒店隆重召开。
本次会议旨在促进从事基因组学研究的科学家，生物制药业界的专家，从事IT技术和生物信息学分析的高级工程师，学术刊物编辑及政府决策机构人员之间的交流。来自世界各地的专家学者将在汇报基因组学领域最新科研进展的同时深入讨论农业育种、医疗健康、癌症疾病、生物医药信息技术、生态环保以及当前热门的云计算和数据挖掘等相关议题，深入探讨基因组学研究和生物信息学分析对人类未来的影响及意义。届时，会议将邀请到全球在基因组学、基因组测序及信息分析技术、生物信息学以及相关科研领域卓有建树的科学家作精彩报告。

   

The International Conference on Genomics (ICG) aims to promote research in basic and applied genomics and to present the latest information on new approaches in sequencing and bioinformatics. ICG has been hosted annually by BGI () in China since 2006. On November 28-December 1, 2012, BGI continues this annual series of meetings, which have attracted a truly international audience of the leading scientists in a variety of scientific fields. Last year ICG-6 had over 600 delegates from 40 countries. Growing rapidly over the last six years, ICG has become one of the top international scientific gatherings featuring the latest developments in genomic sciences.
