美国EAS Incorporated
he company was started back in 1999 by the President Gary J. Masonick who has been working in the field of catalysis since 1980. Mr. Masonick holds a BA degree from DePaul University in Chicago having specialized in business administration, communications, sales management and marketing. Mr. Masonick has an extensive background in both chemistry and mechanical engineering design as a result of working in the field of catalytic air pollution control for over (26) twenty-six years.
EAS Incorporated a major supplier of straight through patent pending U-CAT?Catalytic Converter Systems, Horizontal Combination Catalytic Silencers, and vertical Ladder-Less Combination Catalytic Silencers used on natural gas fired rich, lean burn, and 2-cycle engines at natural gas compression facilities for the control of engine emissions. The pollutants we treat include NOx, CO, HCHO, & NMNEHC hydrocarbons.
Besides supplying catalytic converter systems and replacement catalyst elements to the natural gas processing industry for stationary engine emission control, EAS Incorporated also supplies recuperative catalytic oxidizers, ceramic corderite and honeycomb monolith precious metal catalysts, and 95% heat recovery regenerative thermal oxidizers. Others areas of expertise designed to save clients energy include catalytic retrofits of thermal oxidizers and loose plate structured ceramic block heat retention media for RTO's. For existing catalytic oxidizers not employing a monolithic type catalyst, we offer precious metal and non-precious metal beads and spheres for catalytic systems. Regarding catalyst services we offer flame ionization detection (FID) pilot reactor catalyst testing and complete catalyst washing services, and precious metal recovery services from spent catalyst.
The major benefits of EAS Incorporated that distinguishes us from our competition are our unique equipment designs. Our equipment is designed for the mechanic, plant engineer or engine analyst in mind to allow easy access to the catalyst to avoid costly maintenance and down time. Our vertical standing ladder-less combination silencer allows access to the catalyst at ground level eliminating safety issues in climbing ladders and standing on platforms in order to service the catalyst. Our U-CAT model slot design only requires 4 bolts to be removed to gain quick access to the catalyst element.
We are a full service supplier and can offer fast turn around times on spare replacement catalyst elements often in a few days time if we have them in stock. We can also set up an inventory stocking program for our major clients who purchase catalyst on a continuous basis and ship federal express overnight when a catalyst is not passing the emission requirements.
Regarding our washing services this is normally performed in a period of 5-7 working days time. All catalysts in use should be monitored on a continuous basis recording both the temperature rise and pressure drop across the catalyst. Our recommendations are that when the pressure drop across the catalyst nearly doubles or you start witnessing a loss in temperature rise or failure to meet the required destruction efficiency; this indicates that the catalyst is now becoming masked and is required to be chemically washed. The catalyst typically is washed on a cycle of once every 2-3 years time based upon the chemical composition of the feed gas stream. The catalyst can be regenerated at least three times over the course of it's life span before it becomes spent at which time we offer precious metal recovery services.
We recommend to all of our clients when they purchase new equipment from us that they also buy a brand new back up set of spare catalyst. The new catalyst can be put in while the original set is being serviced and then the elements rotated in and out on a regular routine maintenance schedule.
One final thing worth mentioning about EAS Incorporated is that in the history of our company and because of our engineering expertise in the application of catalysts for environmental air pollution control; we have never once in the history of our company had a catalyst or equipment failure because we always do the engineering right the very first time and know how to choose the correct gas hourly space velocity based upon both laboratory and field application experience.
