加拿大coractive创建于1998年，是目前加拿大致力于特种光纤产品的唯一专业公司，公司主要创始人十余年来一直从事特种光纤产品的研究开发，先后参与主持研制特种光纤近百种，为加拿大特种光纤领域的先驱，目前国际iec组织的掺铒光纤产品标准负责人。coractive公司目前主要产品包括掺铒光纤、紫外光敏光纤、衰减光纤、双包层光纤、单包层光纤和中红外光纤六个系列。该公司铒纤产品目前业内唯一在工艺上实现纤芯有限区域掺杂——“confinement”，相比常规均匀掺杂铒纤在提高增益降低噪声方面带来更多设计方便。coractive公司与ino（加拿大国家光学研究所）合作，推广ino的衰减光纤、光敏光纤、单/双包层稀土掺杂光纤、单/多模光纤。
