Founded in 1981 on the principles of innovation and exceptional service, CIVCO rapidly grew into an established world leader in high-tech medical accessories for image-guided procedures. The company began broadening its service and deepening its roots as an industry front-runner in 1999 with a series of careful acquisitions, beginning with ATL Accessories. Since then CIVCO acquired Barzell-Whitmore Maroon-Bells, Inc., MEDTEC and Sinmed BV. The combination of these companies has led to CIVCO's ability to provide high quality, innovative solutions for image-guidance, patient positioning and radiation oncology accessories.

In 2005, CIVCO became the medical platform for Roper Industries. Our partnership with Roper’s imaging segment broadens Roper’s life sciences business and enhances CIVCO’s medical offerings and capabilities.

In 1996, CIVCO achieved certification to ISO, an international standard which recognizes quality in design, development, manufacturing and customer service. To ensure continued excellence, a certified organization audits our quality system annually. Registrations, certifications and assessments are performed by the SGS United Kingdom Ltd. Systems & Services Certification.

All of our products are designed and manufactured in accordance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC requirements.
