The purpose of the BioNavis Ltd. company is to develop, manufacture and distribute Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) based research and diagnostic instruments and methods worldwide. The Company was founded by private investors in 2006 with the main goal to take over and further evolute the SPR technology primarily developed at VTT - Technical Research Centre of Finland. The mission of the BioNavis company is to produce SPR research instrument which has clearly better features and performance as compared to competitors, but with affordable price. The SPR device is mainly targeted to research of molecular interactions, and will be used by academia, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical diagnostic research organisations.
