南方测绘1989年成立于广州,由“两个人,半间房”开始创业。历经发展,南方测绘已成为一家集贸、工、技为一体的专业测绘仪器、软件产业集团,稳居中国测绘仪器及软件行业第一位;产品出口到世界六大洲100多个国家和地区,跻身世界行业4强。
集团现拥有遍布全国的30家省级分公司、100家地市级分公司、3家海外分公司、1家数码公司和1家GNSS公司,并建成北京、武汉、常州、广州5家现代化厂房,成为全球最大的测绘仪器制造基地。

2005年,南方全站仪、GPS登陆南极,支援极地科考,成功禁受住极限考验;CSAA软件再次荣获“年度国产GIS软件测评”大奖;南方测绘荣获2004年度国家科技进步二等奖,并被评为“中国隐形冠军百佳”。
2006年,南方测绘希望小学建成,成为中国测绘行业的第一所希望小学。南方人用爱心真诚回馈社会。
2007年,南方测绘开发的莱阳EIS系统,被山东省建设厅推荐、展示为全省示范房管系统。
2008年,南方测绘通过国军标质量管理体系审核认证,南方数码两款软件通过“二调”测评并推荐使用,南方CORS基站傲立全国,同时,南方公司积极参与奥运圣火传递路线测量,组织测绘用户“百人看奥运”。

Established in 1989 and headquartered in Guangzhou, South Surveying & Mapping Instrument Co., Ltd. is a professional and leading enterprise in the surveying industry inMainland China, whose five affiliated factories specialize in R&D and manufacturing and selling nine kinds of surveying products, including Total Station, Electronic Theodolite, Electronic Distance Meter, Automatic Level, Laser Level, Reflector Prisms, surveying accessories, GPS receivers, Mapping Software, etc.
