The company pioneered the development of Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) detection technology and presently offers the largest range of LIF detectors.

The Picometrics range of products include:

· the ZETALIF Discovery, a multi-wavelength detector with a movable cell

These detectors are used with HPLC and CE systems separation methods and are commonly employed in R&D and QA/QC laboratories in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, research institutes and universities in Europe, North America and Asia.

In addition, Picometrics provides superior scientific and technical support to the end user .The Picometrics application laboratory and end users have published a large number of papers that demonstrate the sensitivity of the ZETALIF detectors with Capillary Electrophoresis as well as with conventional, micro and nano HPLC systems.

Picometrics is staffed by engineers in optics, electronics and computer science who design the instruments and chemists who develop customer applications including derivatization or separation issues. All of the company’s scientists and engineers have many years of experience in LIF technology, Capillary Electrophoresis and HPLC; this allows the company to assist users in selecting the best labeling techniques for a broad range of applications.
