In 25 years, Apageo has developed a wide range of products covering the whole geotechnical industry, from drilling to sample analysis.

APAGEO was created in 1984 by Robert Robin, a former Sales Manager Techniques Louis Menard. Himself, then his successor, assisted by Michel GAMBIN have made APAGEO a flagship company in its field both nationally and internationally.

In 1984, Apageo takes starts the production of the famous Menard Pressuremeter ® , used to calculate the bearing strength and foundation settlement.
In order to provide an integrated offer to its clients, Apageo enlarges it production since 1985 in the small diameter material, natural complement to measuring instruments (augers, pile tubes, rods and tools).
Meeting great success, Apageo will gradually expand its offer towards equipment for drilling larger diameter (tricones, Trimmers, rods and fittings)

In 1987, Apageo continues to grow both in the in situ test (creation of Phicometer in collaboration with M Philipponat (Sopena)) and in drilling equipment (manufacture of injection pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic ). Apageo becomes a reference in the in situ materials and enriched its offer with a digital recorder, the Explofor ®, allowing the processing of results by computer.

In 1989, continuing the logical extension of range, Apageo takes over the company Segelm, renowned French manufacturer of coring tools, and acquires the knowledge and expertise necessary to manufacture the conventional coring equipment. In 1989 Apageo begins manufacturing a range of boring, drilling and coring rigs, the APAFOR ®.In the 90s, the department develops an electronic system for acquiring data for Pressuremeter ® (Spad ® and Geospad ®) software and data processing drilling (The Explofor ®).

In 25 years, Apageo has expanded its range of geotechnical product, developed its expertise, expanding its buildings and has surrounded himself with renowned partners. Today, Apageo invests heavily in research and development, to renew its offer and to present products of last generation for even more performance.
