Since its foundation in 1977, Meridata has specialized in development of acoustic survey instruments and systems for seabed research.
Our facilities in Lohja, Finland house our engineering, marketing and administration staff.
Field R&D, product demonstration and system training operations take place at our marine base in Inkoo, Finland and on board the 40-ft research vessel R/V Meridata.
A considerable portion of our revenue is invested in further research of hardware and software technologies in the field of underwater acoustics.
Meridata's customers are private and governmental organizations active in hydrographic, marine geological, geophysical and environmental surveying in offshore, coastal as well as inland waters.

Well over 80 per cent of our total sales are exports to countries in Europe, the Far East and the Americas. In each of these areas, Meridata is trusted by distinguished professionals in their respective fields.
