For nearly half-century since our company was established in 1961, we have been placing the foundations of basic technology for the development of science and making a considerable contribution to the social development, through the business activities from the customer’s points of view, under the company’s tradition that respects employee’s individual personality.
At the beginning of our foundation, we thought that the measurement of physical properties such as thermal conductivity, density/specific gravity or refractive index would be essential to the progress of science and technology. Accordingly, we have been committed to producing variety of instruments measuring these physical properties over the years ever since then. Further, in about 1970, when the environmental problem has been zoomed in on one of the Japanese biggest issues, we took the initiative in the business of supplying analytical systems for environmental applications – the best among those systems, the HCl monitor for flue gas, has been adopted by lots of refuse incineration sites and has made a great contribution to conservation of the environment.
As one of the latest topics, the case of heat stroke, observed in such occasions as sports in summer or work in severe hot environment, has been extensively covered by TV and newspaper. Then, a couple of years ago, we have developed and begun to sell “Heat Stroke Checkers” which allows to indicate how dangerous the heat environment is, leading to prevention of heat stroke case during sporting activities at school, assistance of effective sports training or better control of work environment.
In this manner, by our own know-how, we are not only providing customers with products beneficial to both industrial development and creation of amenities but also working on the R&D and commercialization of new technological concept.
In the future, we are certain that we are able to continue to provide customers with products of satisfactory quality by engaging in research of high-technology on detection and making customers’ needs reality, under the belief, “Basics of Analytical Instruments lie in Detection Technology and Signal Processing Technology.”
