Gilson’s 171 and 172 Diode Array Detectors deliver rugged and accurate detection for both preparative and analytical HPLC. Detection is done with a fiber optic light path that can be configured in a fixed or remote flow cell design.

With remote flow cell, the power of the detector is located directly at the outlet of the column, which yields virtually no peak broadening.

An interchangeable flow cell design allows for both the 171 and 172 Detectors to accommodate analytical and semi-preparative to preparative applications.
