Generally speaking, when measuring gas, it is recommended to install the valve at the entrance (bottom); when measuring liquid, the valve can be installed at both the entrance and the exit (top). For vacuum applications, valves must be installed at the outlet. If not specified at the time of ordering, the valve will be installed at the inlet of the flowmeter at the time of shipment.
